Day 27 - Periods 1, 2, 5 & 6 Thursday 9/26 AND Period 4 F 9/27 (I have a sub on Friday)

By the end of grade 9, read and comprehend literacy nonfiction in the grades 9-10 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.5 Develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach, focusing on addressing what is most significant for a specific purpose and audience. (Editing for conventions should demonstrate command of Language standards 1–3 up to and including grades 9–10 here.)

Objective:
1. To understand what you need to do on Embedded Assessment #2 in order to be successful
 
2. Develop and strengthen writing by planning, focusing on what needs to be done to reach your targeted audience.

  1. SSR for 15 minutes
  2. Individually finish pages 77-79 in SpringBoard

  3. Thursday - Go over Embedded Assessment #2 (the G.O., too). Goal: Empower students to be able to answer own questions and persevere when facing obstacles.
  4. Collect Spirals: Thursday - Period 5
  5. Model my thinking with a book - an ad I might create and the 4 parts of the argument. Show Podcast with Sydney
