1. Bellringer: Quote and Add vocab to spiral:

• Add personification to vocab spiral
       a figure of speech that gives human qualities to an animal, object, or      idea.          
  

• Add character foil to vocab notebook

a foil is a character who contrasts with another character (usually the protagonist) in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character.

2. Class read aloud: A2, S3 - volunteers needed!

4. Act 2, Scene 4 - Absent students, watch this production. Class will read along with text book while listening to this audio.
5. Activity 4.14, page 281 - Do this with a partner IF the class can handle it & should not take long.
6. HW: Read A2, S5 and annotate the text as you read with questions, paraphrases, comments.
